The company relies on state-of-the-art technologies such as 4K/8K monitors, 3D stereo systems and VR/AR solutions to provide the best possible support for digital transformation.

For cities and municipalities that want to strengthen their digital infrastructure, data processing, process automation and the creation of digital twins are key challenges. Schneider Digital offers forward-looking hardware solutions that guarantee maximum performance and efficiency. The hardware scores highly with its high performance and flexibility, especially when implementing smart city concepts and utilising artificial intelligence (AI) or GIS systems.

Efficient data processing for future-oriented urban development

The digital transformation is challenging cities and municipalities to process increasingly large amounts of data and integrate innovative technologies into administrative processes. Schneider Digital offers specially developed high-performance hardware solutions that make it possible to retrieve, analyse and manage data quickly and efficiently. Whether digital citizen services, smart city projects or the use of digital twins to visualise construction projects – Schneider Digital’s hardware and software solutions are designed to meet these demanding requirements. From the recording of complete infrastructures to the simulation of environmental and mobility scenarios: Schneider Digital’s systems enable the seamless integration of modern technologies that significantly improve processes in cities and municipalities.

Security against cyberattacks with hardware & software solutions

At a time when cyberattacks are a real threat, a strong IT security strategy is essential. As Tim Berghoff from GData points out, acting quickly and prudently in the event of a cyberattack is crucial to minimise damage. Companies and authorities should take preventative measures and be sensitised to prevent data leaks and system failures.

With Schneider Digital and its almost 30 years of experience, local authorities have a strong partner at their side that not only offers hardware, but also comprehensive advice and customised solutions.

Long-term investment security and comprehensive service

Schneider Digital sees itself not only as a hardware supplier, but also as a long-term partner for local authorities. Investing in high-performance, customised IT solutions not only means greater efficiency in administration for cities and municipalities, but also savings in terms of personnel and time. Thanks to high reliability, comprehensive advice and a dedicated after-sales service, local authorities benefit from long-term utilisation and sustainability of the IT infrastructure. With a personal contact person at their side and individually configured hardware solutions, Schneider Digital ensures that digitalisation projects can be implemented smoothly and efficiently. This means that local authorities are optimally prepared for the challenges of the future.

LiDAR News talks about 3D stereo visualization in use at Fortsite

Lidar News is interested in innovative companies and their use of advanced technologies with enhanced visualisation and modelling and planning results. For this Q&A feature, Gene Roe, founder of Lidar News, interviews Geoff Lawless, Registered Professional Forester at Forsite.isualisation, about the company's growth and its use of Schneider Digital's 3D technology (distributed by KELYN3D)

LiDAR News Customer Q&A: M.A.N. Mapping Services on the use of 3D visualisation technologies

Lidar News is interested in how innovative companies and individuals are using advanced technologies for improved visualisation and better modelling and planning results. For this Q&A feature, Lidar News editor Gene Roe interviews technician Dennis Shimer of M.A.N. Mapping Services Inc. in Ohia/USA and how he uses Schneider Digital's 3D PluraView technologies (distributed by KELYN3D) in his daily work.
3D PluraView x Robotic System Lab ETH Zurich - Demonstration der Telemanipulation während ARCHE 2023

Total Control in Telemanipulation on 3D PluraView monitors presented at ARCHE 2023

In July 2023, the event ‘Advanced Robotic Capabilities for Hazardous Environments’, ARCHE for short, took place in the French-speaking part of Switzerland near Avully. The revolutionary telemanipulation capabilities of the ALMA system from the Robotic Systems Lab at ETH Zurich were presented in action in conjunction with the technology of the stereoscopic 3D display of the PluraView monitor. This combination enables precise and immersive control for complex and dangerous tasks.

3D monitors digitalise the forest

Forest Mapping Management (FMM) in Salzburg (Austria) has set itself the task of digitalising the forest for the future. A large number of modules can be found under the affiliated palos platform (https://palos-platform.com/) for forestry, for example for digital timber measurement, tree monitoring, growth analysis, digital hunting management and GPS. The statement that you can't see the wood for the trees is not a problem for the technology of the 3D PluraView monitors from Schneider Digital, on the contrary: When creating digital and analogue forestry maps with high-resolution, true-to-scale images as well as 3D models, 3D monitors from Schneider Digital are used to the complete satisfaction of the customer FMM.
