3D PluraView x Robotic System Lab ETH Zurich - Demonstration der Telemanipulation während ARCHE 2023

Total Control in Telemanipulation on 3D PluraView monitors presented at ARCHE 2023

In July 2023, the event ‘Advanced Robotic Capabilities for Hazardous Environments’, ARCHE for short, took place in the French-speaking part of Switzerland near Avully. The revolutionary telemanipulation capabilities of the ALMA system from the Robotic Systems Lab at ETH Zurich were presented in action in conjunction with the technology of the stereoscopic 3D display of the PluraView monitor. This combination enables precise and immersive control for complex and dangerous tasks.

3D monitors digitalise the forest

Forest Mapping Management (FMM) in Salzburg (Austria) has set itself the task of digitalising the forest for the future. A large number of modules can be found under the affiliated palos platform (https://palos-platform.com/) for forestry, for example for digital timber measurement, tree monitoring, growth analysis, digital hunting management and GPS. The statement that you can't see the wood for the trees is not a problem for the technology of the 3D PluraView monitors from Schneider Digital, on the contrary: When creating digital and analogue forestry maps with high-resolution, true-to-scale images as well as 3D models, 3D monitors from Schneider Digital are used to the complete satisfaction of the customer FMM.
